Got another dope remix for ya'll today. This track here will definitely make it on your "In the Bedroom" mix and if you don't have a "In the Bedroom" mix you better get on it! Timothy Parenteau, aka Molecule, has put just the right touches on this joint without over doing it with too much of the original vocal. Sometimes remixes will have the entire vocal layered on top and I personally think that's lazy. A true remix is taking the best parts and sampling the sh!t out of it and letting the beats speak for themselves. Secret Panda Society is made up of Joe Benny and Rob Stern. Joe Benny is a drummer who has toured around with different bands ranging from ska to indie experimental up and down the east coast, while Rob has been an engineer on projects like "Winter Kills" with the talented Josh Gabriel. They first forged a relationship while working at Omega Records recording studio in Rockville, MD and sometime there after got together to produce some music. Music they refer to as "genre blurring modern music".  I love to see two people come together with different experiences and find a union that really works. Here we have a nice Stevie Nicks remix thats nice on the ears and a nice hype song for the beginning of the night. Check the Soundcloud and Facebook, shout em a message. First off I gotta say I love this dude! DJ Wick-it, aka the instigator, is straight ill and continues to make so many dope beats. I first started feeling it not too long ago with his disc entitled, "The Brothers of Chico Dusty", a Black Keys and Big Boi mashup. His Iron Man mix is also another great track. Pink Floyd, a heavy bassline, and dope hip hop samples.....YES. Check the Soundcloud, he's got a bunch of free downloads.    

I've had this track for awhile now and it played randomly the other day and I fell in love with it again..... thought I'd share. The track has that reggae flavor, which is my favorite type of step. Often the reggae step is over looked but many should remember that the word "DUB" is in Dubstep. Its not always about the heavy drops and wobbles. Of course this track has plenty of drops and wobbles, but the melodic flow and supreme samples are what make the song. This song like most step is meant to be listened to loud, so turn the speakers up, sit back and do what you do. Check the Soundcloud and shout em a message on Zi Facebook.  

A Madonna/Justin Timberlake step track thats dope......? Oh yes it has been done and Love&Light are the one's responsible. With long stretched out vocals that remind me of a late Beatles joint, this song is legit. This track truly shows how dubstep, and electronic music in general, can take anything and make it dope. These guys continue to put out quality tracks and I'm excited to hear more. Check the Soundcloud and get that EP!  

This track has been all over the net this week and to be honest at first I wasn't feeling it. Though, a packed car floating on its way down to Denver for a dub show and two twelves later, it was a different story. Hailing from Sweden this seventeen year old, and yes I said 17, is rippin it up on this dubbed out remix. Check the Souncloud. Get dat download.

First Joy Orbison, then Com Truise; now Mord Fustang is the latest linguistic trickster to come along with a too-clever-for-its-own-good, meta-po-mo, celebrity- or brand-riffing alias. (Like Com Truise, it’s a spoonerism to boot, which is worth pointing out if only to take advantage of any opportunity to use that word. Spoonerism!)

And we should have fun with Mord Fustang’s name while we can, as surely it can’t be long before the Estonian producer receives a cease-and-desist from the American auto maker and re-christens himself something safer—like, oh, Tete Pong, or perhaps 5eadmaud.

Mord has only been on most listeners’ radar for a few months now, but he’s making up for lost time with a seriously rapid ascent. Since January he’s dropped five singles for Miles Dyson‘s Plasmapool label, with “Lick the Rainbow” currently sitting at #3 on the Beatport Top 100.

A little less than a few hours ago Big Gigantic released their latest track "The World is Yours",  that drops just before their summer touring season. Big Gigantic has been tearing apart the live music circuit with their known remixes such as Aloe Blacc's I Need a Dollar and Wiz Khalifa's Black and Yellow.  Beyond their remixes they have been producing their own music since forming in late 2008 and standing as a prominent force in the Colorado and national electronic music scene. For all you bass-heads out there this one is especially fat, so get ready to get down.

Not dubstep.... but thats ok this joint is still dope and we want to show some luv. This kid continues to blow up in the electronic music scene and has continued to put out quality track after quality track. With tracks like Ambien (Sleepy Trip) and this newbie, Duvall is making a nice name for himself. Check out his Soundcloud for some more remixes and hit up the Facebook and shout him a message. Duvall will be at Denver University on May 14 so if your in town or go to DU hit it up, should be a good time. By the way the original song "Silly Girl" by Neon Hitch is pretty dope itself.
